Genesis Village offers many amenities for our residents to enjoy along with family and friends.

We have a spacious 2,000 sq. ft. atrium for relaxing, playing games or just soaking in the sunshine. Beyond the two-story, floor-to-ceiling windows lies one of our large, landscaped courtyards—the perfect place to relax, read or socialize. We have a high quality fitness center with the right equipment to help you keep your fitness goals.

The Atrium also houses our new indoor pool and custom-built whirlpool. Nearby is our cozy Fireplace Lounge, with a two-sided fireplace that sparkles off the pool at night—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and breakfast, reading a book, catching up with your neighbors or meeting with your family and friends after dinner. Located right next door is our Fireside Café, which houses a coffee and juice bar and serves our continental breakfast daily.

The Wellness Center is located just off the Atrium, offering residents and staff an opportunity to ask questions, get referrals and have basic items like blood pressure checks performed. It is run by the on-site ProMedica At Home which residents can contract, as needed, for many skilled medical services and non-skilled help. Genesis Village also offers free scheduled transportation to medical appointments and shopping in the surrounding areas.

Residents can participate in a wide variety of activities and clubs that our current Residents and Program Directors plan, utilizing our six acres of gardens, green space, woods and walking areas. Inside we have a large activity room, a library and a multimedia theater with the ability to show large-screen movies and presentations. The staff at Genesis Village wants your new home to be welcoming to your family and friends, and we have numerous activities and events that are geared towards these special people in your life throughout the year! Genesis Village offers a unique lifestyle to our Residents with many benefits to inspire all areas of your life: physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social.

Our Life Enrichment Team is the heart of all the activity programming at Genesis Village. You’ll find an abundance of recreational, cultural, entertainment and fitness choices to help you live vibrantly! Life at Genesis Village is about connecting to what’s most important and what matters to YOU. The Life Enrichment Team helps each resident to find their own unique way to add life to the community. Our programming reflects the interests of our Residents and allows for creativity and flexibility; it’s truly Resident-driven!

The Chapel and Prayer Room are always open, and worship services are conducted by guest pastors. We also have on-site pastoral volunteers to cater to your spiritual needs if desired.

No more hanging pictures on the wall, no more yearly air conditioning and heating maintenance, no more painting. No more raking the leaves, trimming the trees, cleaning out the gutters, cutting the grass or shoveling the snow. Our Maintenance Team takes care of it all! With our many amenities and activity options for every level, our family friendly atmosphere, and our all-inclusive monthly rates, Genesis Village is the perfect choice for those who are loving life!

At Genesis village we believe food is synonymous with family. The dining experience frames your day; it brings you together. It creates conversation, connection and belonging. In short, it can and should nourish the body and soul. As important as the ambiance and ritual is, the cuisine being served to our residents is as well. Our food is freshly prepared, some of it being harvested by hand from our Volunteer- & Resident-tended organic garden. Our Chef and cooks offer a meal experience second to none. Our heart goes into everything we prepare, but mostly it goes into how we serve. The Genesis Dining Experience is warm; it’s filled with laughter, reminiscing, catching up and slowing down and feeling comforted.
